  • A child travel consent letter is a document that grants permission for a child to travel internationally without one or both parents or guardians present.

    While this letter is not legally required in Canada, it may be requested by airlines, immigration officials when entering or leaving foreign countries, or Canadian authorities upon re-entry.

    Although having a consent letter does not guarantee entry or exit from a country, it is highly recommended for Canadian children traveling alone, with one parent/guardian, or with friends or relatives. To ensure peace
    of mind, it's advised to have the consent letter notarized.

  • When applying for a travel visa, Canadian immigration officials may require a letter outlining key details to confirm the purpose of your trip to Canada.

    This letter must be written by you, notarized, and submitted to the Canadian Embassy or Consulate in your country.

  • A birth certificate, passport, or driver’s license are just a few examples of official identification that may be required as part of, or in addition to, an application. A certified copy of the documents or IDs, rather than the originals, would be sent.
